ABOUT OUR SCHOOL Schools are our second home where most basic knowledge of human life is taught. Valuable things for life are only gained in schools by education. School kneads children like a dough, gives shape them. It prepares the children woho take the first teachings from their families for the future. AKA is the first place for our little ones who left their families for the first time. Since 2006, it has been dynamic, productive and always active with projects from life. Our school, which has made a mark on new projects every year and also has innovations in its existing projects, is very dynamic. It went to four different countries of Europe with Comenius Project. And in the same way, our guests from four different countries have been welcomed by various trainings. We explained the importance of water savings in the Blue Flag Project. We watered the hobby garden in our school with melting snow waters. We have aimed to gain importance of water in human life. We have taught that the most useful food for our health is hand-made food and we should avoid from packaged foods, sugar, salt with our nutrition-friendly school Project. But hand-made foods are the most precious treasure for the human body. We have adapted the concepts of cleanliness and order to ourlives with the White Flag Project. We have said to our little bookworms. Books are children of mind. We learned once again that the most valuable time which is spent with the family, is the feelings that are experrenced and boks that are read. Concepts like love, respect, tolerance, friendship, empathy and patriotism are the most indispensable part of our valves af education. We have explained taking parts in different social responsiibilty projects that helping and sharing are the greatest virtues. We gave talked about the importance of recycling. We havew realized that nathing is garbcge and even when it becomes unusable, it can serve another purpose. As Eco School, we have proud adapting in our lives that we can be the smallest but the most undismayed guacrdicns of nature. Our school has Green Flag which very few schools thoroughout Europe have, The white flag, The feeding-friendly school and the blue flag. Is our goal? Leave deep marks in our little ones who have big hearts. We shouldn’t forget that ‘’Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.’’(Nelson Mandela)
